LSUK’s Pete Dudley interviewed for feature article TES Pro 28.09.12

A four page feature article on Lesson Study was published in TESPro on 28 September 12. The feature is based on an extensive interview with Pete Dudley, founder of LSUK. The article also features comments from Professor’s John Elliott and John Gardner and school leaders Sue Teague and Dave Goode and makes reference to Jean Lang’s work in Camden (See her invitation to the launch of LSUK London posted 29.09.12). The article by Kerra Maddern acknowledges the work that has been done to introduce LS to the UK and examines the UK version of LS developed by Pete through his TLRP pilot and promoted through LSUK. It quotes in full the steps to ‘Getting Started’ with LS in Pete’s 2005 National College publication and is very positive indeed about Lesson Study as an exciting and impactful mode of teacher learning and enquiry as indeed is TESPro editor Michael Shaw in his editorial on page 3.
