There will be a focus on Lesson Study at the 2013 NAMA (National Association of Mathematics Advisers) conference in Birmingham on 15th March.
Pete Dudley will present a session focussing on mathematics Lesson Studies, and this will be followed by a workshop session led by Nigel Bufton (former Senior Director of the Primary Mathematics National Strategy), Anna Middleton from Beckford Primary school and Rachel Fort from Carlton Primary school, who will present case studies from a mathematics Lesson Study project which has taken place in the London borough of Camden, aimed at improving progress in mathematics across Years 2, 3 and 4.
