Gill Jordan and Marie Heinst have been providing Lesson Study training and support for teachers from schools in Brent and Barnet as part of a project funded by the John Lyons Charity focused on raising achievement in mathematics in Years 3 and 4.

Feedback from the project has been very positive as shown by the following quote:
‘I would say that the main benefit of the project was planning together. It really made you pull apart how the learning develops over time. That time was really useful to talk to other colleagues and think about what we want the children to really understand.’
